DTXchange is an application that is purpose-built for the DTXpress. It allows you to upload and download kits to the brain of the DTXpress and to save those kits as files. DTXchange was written in Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and uses the MIDI I/O custom control from Mabry Software.

How to use DTXchange

1) Make sure you've got your MIDI leads connected up properly.

2) Click on MIDI SETUP and select your MIDI input/output ports

3) Click on LOAD and open a .SYX file - then click SEND and wait for it to invade your brain.

4) Or - click on RECEIVE and start the Bulk Dump on the DTXpress. Once it's received, you can keep it forever by clicking on SAVE and giving it a name.
